I am also an MC at weddings and can do a whole entertainment package for the event with a schedule that suits the Bride and Groom.” Buddy has performed at many weddings, mostly for the younger generation and has always got a great feedback from the Bride and Groom. As a testament to this, he has added a few photographs of this as evidence. Buddy has always been fondly known as the “Wedding Singer”.

While Buddy is boosted by the response he gets from his audiences, he also reaches out to people who are often forgotten by society. “The greatest thing about music is that I can walk into a room and make  sad people happy. It is the most rewarding gift God has given me and in my spare time I visit retirement villages and sing to the residents there as a volunteer. I tell them I’ll entertain them for an hour and then they want more and of course, I stay on.”

Buddy Paris has ventured into producing and starring in his own production show titled: “ESSENTIALLY ENGELBERT”, and is backed by a Five Piece Band.
Buddy was privileged to personally met Engelbert on Dec 13, 2003 backstage after his concert at the Lyric Theatre. Buddy had a heart to heart chat with him and now Engelbert is aware that Buddy is his ardent fan. He is also aware of the ESSENTIALLY ENGELBERT production show. As a testimony to this meeting, Buddy took a photograph with Engelbert. Buddy says he found Engelbert to be extremely warm, friendly and down to earth.
